HP’s new PageWide technology offers unrivalled print speed, more energy-efficient running and the
world’s most secure printing capabilities.

Heralded as one of the most revolutionary arrivals in the printing industry, the new tech has gained
widespread praise.

HP has also been endorsed by Hull-based printing equipment supplier KRL Group – a company which
itself aims to be at the forefront in its field.

KRL has unveiled a new partnership with HP, as it looks to get in on the period of rapid change which
looks certain to arrive in the printing sector.

George Baker, managing director at KRL, said: “The new HPs are probably the safest available on the
market.

“They are also known for their green credentials. There are no parts to throw away like there are
with commercial copiers, so you are not filling landfill sites up as the industry has done in the past.
“It is a unique opportunity for us at KRL to be able to sell these machines.”

Being an independent business means KRL is able to deliver its customers what they want, not what
its own suppliers want.

The company has undergone a major upheaval in recent months.

Mr Baker has now taken sole control of KRL, after a previous director left the company to work on
projects outside of the copier industry.

KRL has since enjoyed a period of exceptional growth, and has expanded its sales and service team.
Mr Baker said: “We have added some new members to the sales team, and have also opened up a
telesales department which will have three new people in.

“Our aim is always to ensure customers get the best service, so we have brought three people into
admin side to strengthen the team.”

KRL has been in business in Hull for more than three decades.
It has worked with some of the best hardware companies, including Konica Minolta and Ricoh, and
can find the best solution for people from the whole market.

HP is widely acknowledged as a leader on IT security, and printers are known as possible points of
attack.

The introduction of HP security technology is a big deal for the industry, and KRL with its new
partnership can offer the ground-breaking products to customers across Hull.
